I spent many years as a business strategist and 'go to market' specialist, for organisations such as Accenture, Capgemini and KPMG, living and working all over the world.
For the last 15 years, I have been running a niche management consulting business, Futurecurve, with a special focus on customer-centric value and customer behaviour.
Looking at customers and companies and having constant curiosity around understanding people, both outside and inside organisations, I chose to train in Transactional Analysis, with a specialism in the organisational field. TA is a great branch of psychology for the workplace - its models and ways of thinking align beautifully with how business people think.
The workplace is different from our private lives. Being at work means we often think and behave very differently. Looking at this context, and understanding what we can do to influence it, gives us much more autonomy, potency and psychological security, meaning we can be authentic, think clearly, and so have greater and more positive impact.
In other words, we feel better and we are better!
To give you a bit more information about me, I'm a member of the International Transactional Analysis Association, an alumna of Stanford University Business School, and co-author of two best-selling business books - Creating and Delivering your Value Proposition
and Selling your Value Proposition. I am a private pilot, scuba diver, love cooking, reading, travel, walking in the Chiltern Hills and absolutely adore a good laugh.
